The Fed’s recent interest rate changes has caused the market to fluctuate greatly.<\/h2>\n

Last week, the Fed raised the interest rate by a quarter, but then the jobs report showed the economy had created over 500,000 jobs – far more than expected. This caused the rates to jump back up, so now the interest rate hovers around 6.125 to 6.25 %<\/strong> for a 30-year-fixed for those with decent credit or better. It is clear that the fluctuation in interest rates is indicative of the current state of the economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although the market could possibly dip below 6% next week, it is impossible to know for sure. Currently this rate is still higher than people would like, but in spite of it, the market is still seeing multiple bids<\/strong> on properties with sellers being able to get competitive offers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While it’s uncertain what the interest rate will be next week, there is hope that it will drop below 5%, making everyone happy.  Buyers<\/a> and sellers<\/a> alike should look to resources that they trust to guide their decisions and remain informed of what is happening in the market<\/strong> at all times.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, interest rates will continue to update as the economy changes and it is important to stay informed as the market fluctuates.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
